Do you find yourself, (or a loved one) struggling to keep sweat at bay?

Those with the medical condition Hyperhidrosis will typically find themselves sweating more than the average person year round. However; when summer hits this experience can be 10x more frustrating – as the heat mixed with sweat causes more odor, and sweat stains can be harder to cover up.

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition of excessive sweating. When regular antiperspirants aren’t enough to combat the sweating, your doctor may recommend trying a neuromodulator injection, such as Botox therapeutic. Botox is an FDA approved treatment for treating hyperhidrosis in the underarms.

“I love performing this treatment as an injector because the results are SO gratifying and long lasting.”

Nurse Montana

Botox is commonly known for its use in cosmetic medicine, for wrinkles and fine lines, but is also used for many medical purposes. In the case of Hyperhidrosis, Botox works by blocking the nerves responsible for activating your sweat glands.

Common treatment areas include:

  • Armpits
  • Palms
  • Soles of the feet

Treatment is performed by an experienced injector in the clinic (Nurse Montana, LPN) under the direction of our in-house physicians. A topical numbing cream is applied to the affected area, and the Botox is administered using very small needles. Most clients say they feel minimal discomfort, if any at all.

Results last on average 6-9 months, and can be life changing for someone who suffers or struggles from this condition. The average onset of hyperhidrosis is 25 years of age, but can affect an individual aged 13-65.
