Dr. Lize Wiese is a family physician based in Kelowna with a clinical focus on skin cancer and skin health. She completed her medical training at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.
In 2010, Dr. Wiese relocated to Canada with her husband, Dr. Ben Wiese, and together they established a family practice in Kelowna. Her interest in skin health and aesthetics led her to work part-time in an aesthetic clinic beginning in 2013. In 2018, she co-founded Kelowna Skin Cancer Clinic.
Dr. Wiese has completed advanced training in cosmetic injectables and aesthetic medicine, including education provided by Allergan and additional training sessions in Phoenix, Arizona.
She has a strong interest in patient education and believes that clear, evidence-based information is an important part of skin health care. Dr. Wiese takes a practical and approachable approach to helping patients understand skin protection, prevention strategies, and common misconceptions related to sun exposure.
Dr. Wiese lives and works in Kelowna, British Columbia, with her husband and their two children.
